3D INK: TEXTURE YOU CAN SEE AND FEEL

Ceramic reproduction of natural materials used to be limited to a flat two-dimensional print that bore no physical relationship to the texture. The desire to bridge this gap has led to advancements in print technology for porcelain stoneware. Optical sensors read each slab’s pressed surface structure and register a high-definition print to it. The texture you see is the texture you feel, and the pattern changes on every piece to avoid the repeating pattern effect. The physical relief on the surface matches the printed pattern exactly.

Whether we’re talking marble, stone, or concrete — the surface reads as the material rather than a picture of it. A sensory surface keeps its movement and depth across the slab. At 1620 x 3240 x 12mm, full-height and long runs are achievable without horizontal joins. The result is a surface where sight and touch agree. The volume, depth, and tactile detail follow the visible design piece by piece with convincing, realistic reproduction of natural materials.
